Make It From Your Heart Contest Sneaky Peeks

There's not been alot of crafting going on the past week because my Grandpapa passed away last Wednesday and we've been busy with the funeral and family stuff. I honestly wasn't in the crafty mood, but decided to jump in and make a layout for the CTMH contest for consultants to try to win $50 of product credit. Scrapping always makes me happy and winning would make me even happier. So I can't post a photo of the layout yet because of rules, but I can post a few peeks. I'm extremely pleased with how this one turned out and actually making a little bit less embellished version of this layout for the swap I'm in on the consultant side also. I will post full photos after the contest ends.

Mischief WOTG and Mini Album

I've been playing with the new CTMH Mischief Workshop on the Go, Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and the August SOTM. I've made all the items below with the WOTG paper plus 2 sheets of neutral cardstock. I still have several scraps left and if I add card bases or cardstock, I'll probably be able to get several more layouts and cards from them. I did use some retired CTMH ribbon and the mini is made using the All Sorts chipboard mini.

So here's everything I've made with this WOTG so far:

NEW Cricut Art Philosophy Christmas Card

These cards are for a swap I'm participating in on the CTMH business side and I do love how they turned out. The new Art Philosophy cartridge is awesome and I've been playing with it for a few days now. The card base/matting and the flowers were all cut with it, the flower stamp came with the cartridge and matches perfectly to the flower shape. I used the new glitter glue and an older paper line called Mistletoe.

Christmas In July Tag Swap

I am on a roll today :) and I am done with all but 3 of these tags because I ran out of hemp. So a trip to Walmart is in order unless I have some in my jewelry making stuff. These little tags turned out very cute indeed! I used chocolate cardstock, Wonderland paper, chocolate flower buttons, new ribbon, hemp, and the To & For stamps are from the Art Philosophy cricut stamp sets, the Merry Christmas stamp is from A Holiday (which is ADORABLE).

My Hero Mini Album

This mini is extremely close to my heart because I made it to give to my little cousin, Kristie, who is serving in the military. I am leaving it empty of pics so she can add what she likes in it. She is in her early twenties and has already served many months in Afghanistan and I am so, so proud of her. She really is MY HERO :)

(Kristie is in front, her sister, Michelle, in back - who is also amazing!)

I used the July SOTM on several pages and tags/envelopes in this mini, but the album is Pink Paislee and the paper/embellies are from the MemoryWorks express July Kit and also some K&Co Americana mixed in there too. I hope it inspires you!

I am Dreamin of Snow and Using Wonderland

This layout is made using Field Trip alpha, overcoats, shimmer brads, sparklers, stamped white daisy ribbon, snowflakes are from October SOTM and I used the silver glitter to accent snowflakes and title :)

I got my huge box full of goodies today and had started this LO but was waiting for the new overlays and the bling to finish it. Now I'm overwhelmed because I want to play with it all and don't know where to start!! I may do the Believe WOTG including the additional artwork because I actually have everything I need to finish it, but I also want to play with the new Cricut cartridge!!! We'll see, but I'm sure there will be new artwork up tomorrow or tonight.

August SOTM and New Mischief paper

I LOVE this halloween paper from CTMH which is new from the upcoming Fall/Winter catalog that will be available August 1st. The stamp set is also the August Stamp of the Month that can be purchased for $5 with a $50 purchase and it is so adorable! I used some retired Autumn Garden ribbon and the Licorice Opaques. I made the layout 6x12 because I have a canvas album that size and had no clue what to do with it and decided since I take so many halloween pictures to use it this year with this kit. Enjoy!

Sophia Layout and Card

So I was playing around with the Sophia WOTG kit and ran across a beautiful layout in my Dec 09 Scrapbook Trends magazine and just had to scraplift it. Of course, there are some of my own spins on it, but I was very pleased with how it came out. The stamp sets used are the Sophia WOTG set and Stitched Together.

My Scrap Haven!!!!

My wonderful, fantastic, best-ever Daddy finished building the addition to my home and this lovely playroom/scraproom is the most beautiful room I've ever seen :) I've already spent several hours scrapping in here and my bestie Lori came over the other day and helped me christen it right LOL. I took Sadie's little desk out just for these pictures, but her space is really cute also and she tells everyone that this room is mine and hers!!

I still have some pictures to hang, and the vinyl on the outside is not done yet but will be soon. I'm sure this room will see lots of love!

Lucky Family Mini

This mini is so cute! I love the Lucky paper pack from Close to My Heart even though it took a little bit to grow on me LOL. For some reasons the bikes weren't doing it for me so I just decided to work around them and make a mini that was still masculine but beautiful. Britt and my dad always like looking at my pages and albums, but Britt (my 15 year old son) says I "girl-i-fy" them up too much, so I dedicate this one to him :) Love you Britt
